about PBB, now SACROMUD, is not just a band that fishes
into Maurizio Pugno's blues (continuing in some way the trajectory traced,
with over 35 years of activity around the world), but it is a real factory of
suggestions and sounds, reflecting on what we are today.

A stroll inside Bluesland, the land of everyone and where everyone has generated
the music of the last 100 years.

An out-of-scale blues for an out-of-scale band, a readjustment of the dress, like a good
tailor would do, to their own sizes.

RESIZED: eight re-adapted covers, and three originals composed and recorded for this album,
is the “opening act” to SACROMUD, the forthcoming album completely composed
by Maurizio Pugno and Raffo Barbi.

The "bourgeois tribality" of Raffo Barbi, scoops up with both hands in the puddle of our daily and
contradictory battles, fitting perfectly with the new vision that Pugno is trying to give to his music,
rooted in the blues but mirrored in the 21st century!

Franz Piombino, as he came back from London (where he lived for over 20 years as a professional
musician), became the backbone of this production together with the youngest,
fresh air bearers, Alex Fiorucci and Riccardo Fiorucci ...

RAFFO BARBI lead and backing vocals
MAURIZIO PUGNO arrangements, electric & acoustic guitars, dobro, baritone guitar, lap steel, synth., percussion, flute, keyboards, drum programming and electronics
FRANZ PIOMBINO electric and fretless bass
ALEX FIORUCCI piano, Fender Rhodes, organ and synth
    RICCARDO FIORUCCI drums and percussion

    special guests:
MICHELE FONDACCI, drums, percussion and african marimba on VIII.
GABRIELE GIOVENALI, drums, on V. and IX

SACROMUD Gubbio, Italy

THE OVERGROUND BLUES:
ABOVE THE UNDERGROUND, UNDER THE MAINSTREAM
The SACROMUD overground Blues feels that, in the new popular culture, there is still that old wandering spirit in search of lay prayers; therefore it tries to play the sound of their footsteps, the rhythm of new exodus, to give voice to the sensuality of human weaknesses and to the blackening of the trees, with its off-scale blues! ... more
